Broccoli and Cheddar Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Simply Clean Foods Freeze-Dried Broccoli (rehydrated)
  • 1 cup Simply Clean Foods White Cheddar Cheese powder(rehydrated)
  • 1/2 cup Simply Clean Foods Freeze-Dried Onion (rehydrated and chopped)
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup whole milk or cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Sauté Onion and Rehydrated Broccoli:
    In a pot, sauté the rehydrated Freeze-Dried Onion in butter until translucent. Add the rehydrated Freeze-Dried Broccoli and stir well.

 

 

  1. Create Broth Base:
    Pour in chicken or vegetable broth, bringing the mixture to a gentle boil.

 

 

  1. Simmer and Blend

Reduce heat and let the soup simmer. Use an immersion blender to achieve your desired level of creaminess.

  1. Add Rehydrated Cheese and Milk:
    Stir in the rehydrated Freeze-Dried  Cheddar Cheese powder and milk or cream until fully melted and incorporated.

 

 

  1. Season to Perfection:
    Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue simmering until the soup reaches the desired consistency.

 

  1. Serve and Enjoy:

Ladle the soup into bowls and serve hot.
